Pamper Mission #21

Dear Friends,

With all we must accomplish each day, it’s so easy to let the little things we should do regularly to pamper ourselves get pushed to the back burner. Take a look at your hands. Are the cuticles dry? Are the nails chipped and broken? Is the skin parched?

Take the time to use moisturizer on your hands regularly this week and if you like, choose a pretty polish color to really make your hands look glamorous! A FlyBaby wrote in with her favorite tip from her doctor for keeping her hands soft and smooth. She washes her hands in hot water and then massages petroleum jelly into her hands. She says she has lovely soft hands all the time now!

Make it easy to keep your nails trimmed and neat. Keep a file and nail clipper in your drawer at work, in your car, and in an easy to get to spot at home. If someone “borrows” your nail clippers and fails to return them, go ahead and replace them right away. They are inexpensive and will help you stay in the routine of properly grooming your hands.

Little moments such as these throughout the week reinforce what FLYing is all about. You are worthy of love, you are worthy of being cared for (especially by YOU) and when you take care of your needs you are better able to meet the needs of others.

Enjoy your pampering sessions this week! You’re worth it!

Love,
FlyLady Dana
