An often overlooked way of pampering ourselves is to slow down and take our time eating meals, especially breakfast. Many people skip breakfast because they don’t plan time to enjoy a nice breakfast before continuing on with their day.
This week, pamper yourself by taking the time to have a yummy breakfast. Choosing a breakfast high in fiber, with some protein, and a lot of flavor will enable you to start your day alert and ready to FLY. It will also help you fight off the urge to grab something
unhealthy out of the vending machine later in the morning.
It doesn’t have to be anything super fancy, but try eating a variety of foods instead of just one food group. Take the time to prepare some lovely fresh fruit to go with your oatmeal. Fill your omelette with some cheese and fresh veggies. Top your yogurt with a high fiber
cereal or a few chopped almonds to give it extra texture and staying power. Most importantly, SIT while you eat and take the time to enjoy each bite and know that you are taking care of your body and that is one of the keys to FLYing to the best of your ability.
