I talked with you on the phone about six months ago, (I’m the one with the basset hound). I couldn’t believe I actually got to talk to you when I wanted a couple questions answered about the Mouth Trap book. I’m so glad I did, because you so kindly helped me have the courage to cut out sugar! I’ve not had a granule since that day! (And neither has Polly Ester LOL). I love the book by the way, and I’ve lost 36 pounds and like you said on one of your videos, I’m happier on this new way to eat! How can that be? How can what we eat make us happier? It’s a question that baffles me even though I am proof that it’s true! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful book. I also love your cooking videos and low-carb recipes. I know I will never go back to the way I was eating. NEVER! Oh, and I have news! I have met a wonderful man who has been so supportive of my new lifestyle. He doesn’t have a weight problem and guess why? He’s been on a low-carb way of life for ten years!!
Thank you again,
Allison from Buffalo, NY
If you are being told by your doctor to lose weight and cut back on sugar, your inner child with her little sweet tooth is going to naturally balk at that! Read The Mouth Trap: the butt stops here! and you’ll be able to deal with your little inner child in a fun way and actually kick the sugar habit. The book is lighthearted and will help you have fun with this life change. Having been on a low-carb diet for almost two years, I am happier (I think it’s physiological) partly because I’m NEVER hungry and I’ve noticed food tastes better! There was a resent headline I loved: We’re Eating Less Calories but We’re Getting Fatter! On a low-carb diet, we don’t count calories (I probably eat 500 more calories a day than I did when I was limiting my calorie intake) we count carbs. More and more I’m running into thin people who are low-carb, just as Allison did. I hope you’ll read my book. I’d love you to lose 36 pounds is six months and NEVER be hungry!
