Dear FlyLady,

I’ve been using your calendar since August and have found it very helpful for keeping track of my various obligations. As my son gets older and the details of his activities and care become more complex it’s really been a life-saver at times.

But I was unprepared for what greeted me this morning. As I flipped the page to the new month, I noted an entry in my 7 year old’s imperfect hand noting an upcoming event. Since the event is a couple of weeks in to April he had to have realized weeks in advance that he would want to remember it and he knew just what to do with that information.

As far as I can remember I have never mentioned or discussed the calendar with him at all. But by osmosis it has obviously become an important part of both of our lives.

FlyLady here: Every year we run out of calendars. It is that time of year again. We are probably the only company who could sell calendars in the middle of summer if we wanted to, but we are not going to do this.
