Dear FlyLady,

The other day I was cleaning up after dinner, and I thought it was going to take way more than fifteen minutes.

Why?

Because I was moving in slow motion, then, something occurred to me. You mention 15 minutes at a time, progress not perfection, and weekly home blessing tasks that take only 10 minutes each…I decided to ‘play beat the clock’ and thought about the fact that when I go to the car wash I have to finish vacuuming before the time runs out.

Once the time runs out the vacuum turns off. So, now that’s how I look at things–I only have enough quarters to last a certain amount of time and I have to work quickly to get the job done.
