Dear FlyLady,

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you about my first day FLYing yesterday.

My sink is now sparkling instead of perpetually filled with dirty dishes waiting to go in the dishwasher. The dishwasher was emptied after it finished instead of when there was a full load needing to go in. Now when things become dirty, I can load them straight away and every time I walk into my kitchen, I smile at my shiny sink. The 15 minutes of decluttering mean that the previously seemingly insurmountable pile of clean washing that graces my dining table, is almost half and I can actually see some table! This achievement means that instead of looking at the pile and despairing and putting off doing more washing for fear of making it even bigger, I am now motivated. I have a nice neat pile of clean washing about to be put away, a garbage bag full of clothes that are either not worn or too small waiting to be recycled, and a load of washing in the machine.
