I’m not sure I should be promoting the feeling of smug (pride goeth before the fall), but I got this email and had to share it with you. I say, “Betsy, smug your heart out!”Dear Pam,
Sometimes I have to look in the mirror and ask myself, “Who are you?” because I’m having so much fun being organized! No one could have told me how free I feel, it’s just something I had to experience for myself.
I don’t have children of my own, but I have six nieces and nephews with whom I’m very close. You talked me into giving cash for gifts and when I finally decided this year that’s the way I was going to go, it opened a whole new door!
Are you ready for this? I purchased the Everybody Loves Money video and created the best gifts I’ve ever given to them for Christmas gifts. Once I had the gifts made, using the ideas on the video, I thought, ‘I’m organized! Here it is early June and I’m ready with presents!’ (That’s when I decided to wrap them and hide them so if the children come over between now and the holidays, they won’t see them.) I feel so smug! I have to be careful not to talk about this at work, so that’s why I wrote to you and to thank you for thinking up these fun ideas!
In the Everybody Loves Money (ELM) video, I show you how to make 10 clever and fun ways to give cash for: baby showers, birthdays, graduations, retirements, weddings, holidays and just about any gift-giving event you can think of! ELM is your answer to the last-minute crunch when you don’t have a present and it’s only an hour or two until the event. (You know that feeling!) If you don’t have time to run to the mall, if you don’t think giving someone a check is personal enough, if you want your gift to be the hit of any celebration then ELM is for you. And because you are creative, the video will spark some ideas of your own!
Once you get an idea whether it’s mine or yours, all you have to do is add the cash and in Betsy’s case get a huge jump on Christmas! (You’ll find the items you’ll need for the gifts waiting for you at the grocery store or in your own pantry.)
