I Had Time to Spare

Dear FlyLady,Thanks so much for doing what you do!

I have been fluttering for a little over a month and I can’t believe the difference you have made! First of all, thanks for giving me permission to do housework imperfectly. You say, “Housework done imperfectly still blesses your family.”

The first time I heard this, my mind told me it must be wrong, but as I have begun the baby steps, I see it is right. Today, I blessed my house for the first time. I thought that I would never get it done in an hour, but I did. I actually had time to spare. I am beginning to see that most jobs don’t take nearly as long as I thought.

I have purchased the Rubba Package and am especially pleased with the Rubba Scrubba and the Sweepa. The Scrubba gathers the cat hair together on my furniture so I can just run a damp rag over the upholstery and it comes off like magic and we have FIVE CATS!

I read in one of your emails that cats like to be brushed with it and thought I would try it today with one of our cats who sheds most but doesn’t always like to be brushed. She purred and even let me brush her on the belly, not a usual thing with her. I showed DH all the hair in the Scrubba and he said, “Wow, that’s better than the cat comb!” I’m going to order another one just for the cat hair, etc.

I hinted to my daughter that I would like the Feather Duster. Hope she takes the hint.

Looking forward to going from fluttering to flying high!

Blessings,
FlutterGranny in NH
