I thought that you might be interested in knowing how well the FlyLady calendar survives accidents!

For the last 10 years or so, I have purchased FlyLady calendars each year.  Although my sister is not a FlyBaby, I gave her a calendar one year on her June 15th birthday and she liked it so well that I have continued getting calendars as soon as they are available for the new year and giving her one.

Yesterday my sister and her husband were turning onto a highway in their SUV when a driver failed to stop at the red light and hit their SUV at a high rate of speed.  My sister and brother-in-law were on their way to meet a bus for a travel club trip so they had luggage in the vehicle and a tote bag that included her FlyLady calendar!  My sister’s main concern at the hospital was that she would not know what was going on for the next six months if her calendar wasn’t found!

The two of them were examined at the hospital and were lucky that they only have bruises and aches.  We drove to the wrecker service to get things out of the totaled SUV and there was my sister’s FlyLady calendar that had been found along the highway!  It was wet and wrinkled but she will be able to continue using it until the new calendars are available!  My sister cannot function without her FlyLady calendar!  It is my clutter-free birthday gift to her each year!
