I have tried many different methods of menu planning, but I think I’ve found something that works for me! I started using Cozi a couple of months ago (love it!), and decided to learn a lesson from the school cafeteria’s repeating monthly menu. But sitting down and making a menu of a month’s worth of meals was something I never seemed to have time for – even a week at a time seemed overwhelming.
So, on the days when I actually *do* plan a meal and cook something, I add it to my Cozi calendar as an all-day appointment, and then set it to repeat monthly. It may take me a couple of months to fill in each day of the month, but it’s a start and is something I can’t procrastinate! I have made dinner, now I put it in Cozi to repeat next month, done! And when that week arrives I can always substitute a different recipe or mix the days up that week, but it gives me a place to start answering that dreaded question, “What’s for dinner tonight?”
