Dear FlyLady,
I just thought I’d drop you a line to tell you how I helped myself prepare for Christmas.
I don’t have many cards to send, but last year as I wrote them out, I doubled up! So this year, when I got my Christmas stuff out, I found my cards written and the envelopes addressed!
My husband was a little concerned that people’s circumstances may have changed, but in fact, there was only one I needed to rewrite because of a change of address!
I intend to write my Christmas cards straight after Christmas whilst it’s still fresh in my mind and they’ll be ready for next year! I consider this to be pampering because I’m helping myself ahead of time!!
Thanks for all you do for us. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
Love
Flybaby Nicola
FlyLady here: This is a great idea. I love getting hand addressed envelopes. Maybe one day I will learn how to write with calligraphy and a fountain pen to address envelopes. A good place to keep them would be in your FREE Holiday Control Journal. I keep all my recipes and gift list in my red office in a bag. I store it with my cookbooks. No one will ever suspect! Also make a note on your calendar for the week of Thanksgiving to mail your cards and where you stashed them.
