I’m not sure if this really counts, but I think it did.
We have four beautiful fuzzy kitty babies that allow us to be their parents and we love them dearly.
I decided to pamper myself this weekend by taking the time I don’t usually have or make for myself and sitting with each one of them curled up in my lap and paying complete attention to them. It is the most wonderful, relaxing and peaceful thing I can do for myself. To have that sweet face looking at you and loving you for loving them and they purr and wrap their paws around my hand, they are so happy, it’s the best thing in the world. So I decided to treat both of us, every fuzzy little body got extra “momma” time all to themselves and I got extra peaceful time and I thought of nothing other than each one at their time. We just zoned out and enjoyed each other, they loved it.
I am going to make this a part of my routine they deserve it and so do I.
Right now with our Christmas trees up they love to just sit and stare at the lights with me petting and loving on them. I didn’t set a timer or keep track of the time. I just got my routine done and said to myself I am going to go and sit now and whoever came over first sat with me and we did nothing but spend the time together and I didn’t rush off after 15 minutes I just relaxed until they got up to get a drink or stretch or a snack. It is so restful for me and I deserve that. Thanks for making me see it’s not a bad thing to take time for myself and I do deserve this, even if my house isn’t perfect. I know that I will have a better Christmas this year because I am ready and relaxed, one little thing at a time and I am actually enjoying getting everything done. No stress
Nothing has to be perfect and boy does that take a load off my shoulders.
I can’t thank you enough for showing me how to finally take the time for myself and have the life I deserve. I am finally not beating myself up every day, I have a clean house, happy fuzzy babies, happy husband, laundry caught up and meals planned with a stocked pantry and fridge and I am finally getting a handle on my finances, peace finally, thank you.
I hope you have a very blessed Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
You are blessing so many people’s lives, thank you from the bottom of my
