Grateful For Experiences

You can tell by Elizabeth’s email below she has had enough and she is mature and ready to move on. She’s in that blessed place of being grateful for her experiences with this man and for knowing what she doesn’t want.

Dear Pam,

I wanted to let you know what an encouragement your GOOD book has been to me. I am still married (32 years) to the guy I met in Junior High. He also is the yellow jacket in the fall as you described your ex in the book. I have been ignoring his emotional (and physical of late) abusive behavior for years. It all clicked when you said your inner child did this for self-serving purposes.

After listening to the book I approached him with my grown up plans for a divorce. It was not a shock as he has heard me threaten him and go to counseling with him and nothing ever changed, instead became worse. Well the grown up part of me now wants to live! I will not miss him or his nasty behavior one bit. I am grateful our finances are in very good shape and no debt. My fears of not getting a fair share are gone and in God’s hands as you told about in your book. I have much to be grateful for with my two wonderful grown children, 3 fabulous grandchildren, and my health. I can’t tell you how much your book has set me on a new and wonderful course without fear or regrets.

Thanks so much!

Your biggest fan,
Elizabeth

When you are as clear as Elizabeth on what you don’t want, the time will be right for you to allow into your experience what you do want.

I didn’t write the GOOD Book: Get Out Of Debt for those who are in unhappy marriages, but I do tell about my fear of divorce for financial reasons and when you hear what I did it’ll put a perspective on the problem some women face being in an unhappy relationship.

It has been years ago that I began climbing out from under $26,000 in credit card debt. I’ve been debt free for ten years and that’s what the book is really about, yet it thrills me that Elizabeth is using it in another way.
