God Bless You, FlyLady!

I bought your book 2 or 3 years ago while perusing a second hand bookstore; I remembered a friend mentioning that she “did” FlyLady, so I quickly scooped it up to see what she meant. Sink Refections has been on my bedside table, ever since. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read it….for encouragement mainly,  it is a true God-send to anyone who feels overwhelmed with home keeping and well, daily LIFE!! I’ve also bought copies for my friends, to share your wonderfulness!

My house has never been neater and cleaner on a regular basis, than now. I’m not perfect…who is?? We all have bouts of falling off the wagon, so to speak! But your simply stated ideas of “swish & swipe“, “shining your sink”, “do it now”, and the awesomeness of “15 minutes, only” are my mantras, now. You are so right when you say that we over estimate the time it will take to accomplish a task, so we procrastinate. I’m amazed at the short amount of time it actually takes to unload the dishwasher, mop the kitchen, dust the house, etc.

I, and so many others, just can’t thank you enough for taking the time and effort to help us with your insight and encouragement. After the kids are off to school, I love sitting down to my iPad in the morning to read your “morning Musing.” It usually hits my nail right on the head! In fact it’s almost spooky how the subject of your musing coincides with happenings in my house that week, or that day!

I feel so sad when I read any mention from you regarding critics of your website and work. I just don’t understand why folks want to do that…it’s a waste of everyone’s time including their own.

I’ve never testified before today but I just felt that you should know that there are those of us who are extremely thankful to you and your staff for lifting us up everyday with words of wisdom, humor, and everlasting encouragement!! AMEN!!
