Thank you so much for your patience and your kind words. It has been very hard for me to declutter. You know my stinking thinking better than I do.
I kept thinking I would wear clothes in my closet when I lost weight. How could I ever get rid of my favorite purple suit? My favorite skirt and sweater set. They prompt great memories when I see them, even though I have not worn them in 15-20 years.
And then some favorite summer shirts. I love them. But I have no room in my closet for the clothes I wear every week. You are right. I will not lose my memories of those fabulous times even if I don’t have the clothes anymore. I have pictures of me with my 2 DD in those outfits.
I will never want to wear them again as they are not the shape I will probably ever be again and that is okay! When I need something, I will find new things that make me feel great about who I am now.
Slowly I will build new fabulous memories of a beautiful decluttered bedroom with those things that I use all the time. Two very large garbage bags are ready in my car trunk to drop off at the St. Vincent DePaul truck that will be at church this Sunday. What a relief!
Thank you for everything you do and for not giving up on us slow flyers. You are amazing. God Bless!
