I had established the basic routines so well, that even when I had zero energy and motivation, I still kept the house out of total chaos and confusion. I did a load of laundry a day, made sure I knew what was for dinner, kept the kitchen and bathroom swished and swiped, and kept clutter from totally taking over every surface the house. My husband still enjoyed coming home to a calm home after a long and tiring day. Now, I have more energy again, heaven only knows for how long.
I am enjoying this time for doing drawers and shelves, deeper de-cluttering (especially paper!), so that when my illness takes me down again, I know if I do the daily routine, it will be GOOD ENOUGH! You have retrained me away from my perfectionist tendencies, and I am so grateful to you for that.
Thank you for the peace of mind you provide to your FlyBabies, when they follow your simple plan. Thank you for your dedication and hard work to provide us with the resources and encouragement we need. And the humor, and sharing your struggles and imperfections so that we don’t feel so alone…. We are so blessed!
Much love to you, FlyLady!
