I’m a fly baby since 2011 when I really needed encouragement. I can’t remember how I found out about your website–it must have been my guardian angel connecting me to you.
After I read your introduction, I felt supported and as if I wasn’t alone anymore. I also felt like my work at home is important. I’m a stay at home mom and a home school teacher. Also my DH works from home.
Our home really needs to be organized because it’s a work space for three people, as well as a living space for those 3, plus 3 animal family members.
When I first decided to shine my sink, I told my DH and DS at dinner that night. From now on I was going to try to do something that we hadn’t done before to see if it helped us. I told them that from that evening forward, if I did nothing else before I went up to bed, I was going to make sure the sink was clean and empty.
My DH was interested right away. He thought it was a great idea and said he would join the commitment.
Ever since then we have had a shiny sink. It may not always be super shined, but it is super shined at least once a week. It is kept clean and empty.
It’s so helpful to come down in the morning and be able to make coffee and breakfast quickly without having to clean up first.
Thank you for inspiring us fly babies to look at housework as a blessing we give our families. Thank you for reminding us that our work is important. Thank you for all of the encouragement you give us.
Best regards from a fly baby
