June Habit #19 FlyLady to the Rescue

Dear FlyLady,

I have been fluttering for a few months now, and I love it! I just finished my first year teaching, and I needed some help figuring out how to make my life run smoothly and make my house look like a grownup’s.

FlyLady to the rescue! I love how simple you make routines and forming new habits.

One habit I didn’t need much help with was drinking more water. I am a singer and flute player and like to keep hydrated.

I have a trick for drinking water throughout the day: any time I am about to do a task with multiple steps, I start by filling a glass of water (I use a big tumbler with a straw). Then after each step in my task, I take a sip or two of water!

For example, getting my face done in the morning: Put on moisturizer (sip), cover-up (sip), blush (sip)…. It also works well with washing dishes, grading papers, or the Weekly Home Blessing!
