I have been flying with you for about a month now. I have loved having a home that stays clean, so I can have friends over any time!
Last night we had some friends over, and just before they left, I started to feel very ill. At my husband’s suggestion, I went straight to bed after they were gone. For the first time since I started flying a month ago, I didn’t do my Before Bed Routine.
This morning, while I felt physically better, I also realized how much I missed the peaceful and orderly start to my day that I get when I do my bedtime routine. My hotspots were cluttered, my sink wasn’t shining–my home just wasn’t hugging me this morning!
Fortunately, I knew that it would only take a few minutes to set things right. The one thing I had done was lay out my clothes, and that helped keep me from feeling as though Chaos had completely taken over! And I know that tonight I can jump right back in with it, and enjoy that stress-free morning again tomorrow.
Thank you for emphasizing these routines with us. They really are important! I will be continuing with my before bed routine every single night.

Rebecca here: This month we are focusing on the before bed routine.
Part of this routine is gathering up everything you need for the following day and putting it in one place. This place is your launch pad. You will be able to grab and go!
Where is your place? Do you have a bag? A water bottle or your office in a bag?
Please share your own tips or stories on the benefits and blessings of the Before Bed Routine.
