I love the purple rags.
The day I got them, I used just water and got up doggy nose prints slash sticky kid fingerprints that had created a thick layer on my windows. I was afraid I was going to have to take a razor blade to get it up. It was amazing. I even snuck them (and the rubba scrubba) into work one night to clean the pizza display case. Between the two, I shaved about 10 minutes of my cleaning process.
Well, I made a serious mistake with them.
You know that haze that builds up on the inside of your windshield? I took one wet rag and used it to clean the windshield on my husband’s car and one dry one to give it polish. It came out beautiful! I’ve been borrowing my mom’s car and I noticed that the haze was all over every window and the mirror. I used the wet to clean and the dry to shine.
It was stunning!
Only problem is that now the headlights from the other vehicles shine through so very well that it is actually painful.
Too much of a good thing, I guess!
What a problem to have. A clean windshield that you can see out of clearly.
The purple rags are becoming a safety tool!
