Your emails are great but I’d like to receive less of them. I cannot find WHERE on your site to do this. Please show me how to trim down the number of emails I receive.

There is NO way to receive fewer emails and still get a positive outcome in your home. At the bottom of every email you can unsubscribe or only get one email a week (Announcements). That is for advanced Flyers who want to stay in touch with us. We no longer offer a digest form of our messages. People were not looking at it. FYI I can tell if you are opening your messages.
We also have an app for this! Check out our FlyLady app for iPhone. This is a paid app. Please follow the directions when signing up for it. Our email messages have always been free and will stay that way.
Over the years our system has sent out emails to help to change your attitude. We do behavior modification with emails. In the beginning, we sent over 25 emails a day. They consisted of 15 reminders, Morning Musing, Ask FlyLady, testimonials, and a mission.
A few years ago we stopped sending out the reminders. Which I thought was a mistake. I set up a twitter account with them, but that did not work. We were only sending out about 15 emails a day. People didn’t understand how important getting into your head and changing your thinking was to getting your home in order.
So last Christmas, we cut the emails back to 5 or 6 a day. I decided that was the lowest we could go. Keep in mind that digital emails are not clutter. They don’t take up a lot of space, they don’t make your house messy, and they may actually help you get rid of your perfectionism. You don’t need to read every single word of every email but if you did; it would only take you a few minutes. We went from 25 emails to 5 emails a day. I think that is something to be proud of. But I can’t please all of you and that makes me sad. Step out in faith and commit to reading my messages.
Last year, we built our FlyLady Messenger App and that has the hourly reminders, along with our messages. Most of us have our phones with us all the time. I have even purchased a refurbished iWatch, so that I don’t have to have my phone with me every second of the day. I can see my text messages, slack messages, tweets, Gmail, and my FlyLady messages with reminders.
When you join please don’t throw in the towel before you even get started. You can do this; it takes time to establish habits. You can’t get rid of your ineffective habits with stinkin’ thinkin’ holding you hostage.

They can help you too but you don’t get the behavior modification that you are exposed to in our messages. The emails are a powerful tool but only if you all0w them to flow over you and get into your head. Start reading them today! You can’t get them on Facebook either.
