I have been flying for six years now . . . sometimes higher than other times . . . and I wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I love your products.
The TIMER . . . This little gem is a marvel.
I have purchased two or three of them in six years because we have so many uses for little timers that we often need several going at once. My kids call it the “Beep, Beep” and it times time-outs, baking cookies, boiling eggs, play times, homework periods, story time, computer games, you name it. Of course, many timers could do these things, but the beauty of your timer is in the “hidden” details, as I discovered when I purchased a cheaper product that looked similar.
The buttons on the FlyLady timer are easy to push . . . I can hardly manage the tiny buttons on the competitor
The buttons are well placed on the face . . . the above-mentioned competitor has a curious habit of falling off the fridge when I push the buttons because they are awkwardly located on the unit. It keeps on ticking after years of use and even while missing the battery door on back
The magnet works on the fridge while the stand works everywhere else.
The CALENDAR . . . going on year four with this
This is truly useful. I love the stickers; I love the roominess of the pages . . . I love being able to tuck away my calendar each year as a brief “journal” of our adventures. I’ve started keeping a short list on each month of which bills must be paid/have been paid, so I can tell at a glance. I recently made it even easier to use by attaching a pretty pencil to it with a string. Now I have the pencil at hand when I think of jotting something onto it.
The MAGNETS . . . buy a bunch . . . they hold anything and everything.
The DUSTER . . . VERY nice. Fun to use!
The WATER BOTTLES . . . I bought two for myself and I use them all the time. I like the happy colors (red and blue); I like their durability when the kids drop them on the tile floor; it is easy to see how much water I’ve had and set the goal of drinking more; and I like the fact that my cat is having to change her habit of drinking out of my glass of water on the bedside table! 🙂 It was awkward trying to remember to keep a sheet of paper over the glass to prevent this “sharing.” On my wish list is your stainless steel sport bottle and the mug.
The RUBBA SCRUBBA . . . these are really great. I call them the “miracle brushes.” They are great for cleaning cat hair from the sofa (and from the cat!), and I like to use them to gently clean out the inside of our little automatic Roomba vacuum cleaner. They clean the dust filter like a dream. I have also used them on shoes, on clothing, etc.
I haven’t even talked about the heart of your program . . . how encouraging the emails and testimonials are . . . how much lighter I feel when I do declutter . . . and how you have given me hope and direction when I really didn’t know what/how to do next . . .
Somehow, even being an organized Type A with the rest of my life, I didn’t know how to clean my house and keep it clean. You have helped SO MUCH.
