Testimonial: I haven't cleaned my bathroom in 9 monthsDear FlyLady,Well. Let me rephrase that. I used to spend an awful lot of time cleaning the bathroom. Scrubbing down the tile walls. Scouring the tub. Mopping the floor. It took me a while and by the time I was done... the bathroom was spotless and I was exhausted. Then I didn't do a thing to the bathroom until it started to get a little disgusting again and then I would spend at least an hour scrubbing and scouring and cleaning everything at once. I became a FlyBaby a year and a half ago and I moved into a nice new apartment last summer. I shine my sink most nights. I make my bed more than I don't. I'm tickled pink when I do something BEFORE I get an email reminder from the FlyLady... like Go To Bed. I'm not perfect and I don't have to be but one of the things that I am most proud of is my bathroom. My bathroom STAYS CLEAN using the FlyLady method of swish and swipe. I have not scrubbed the bathroom tile since I moved in 9 months ago. I clean the tile and the tub frequently ... after I've showered, while I'm still in the shower, and I only use my washcloth and some shampoo. I keep one of those cans of premoistened disinfecting cleaning towelettes in the closet in the bathroom. I use them to wipe off the counter in the bathroom AND wipe out the sink ! ... I have not had to use any kind of abrasive cleanser on my bathroom sink ! Every so often I take a broom to the floor and the Windex to the mirror. Only a few minutes here and there to do one or two things... and the bathroom STAYS CLEAN !
