Testimonial: Bedroom Sanctuary
Dear FlyLady,
Three years ago my 41 DH was in an accident that left him paralyzed
from the chest down. We had tried to share a bedroom, but after a
few months, it was clear he needed the bed and the room to himself
with all his equipment, etc.
I moved into our guest room and started my home-based craft business
at the same time. Now, you know what happened -- Yes, my bedroom
became my office. Not exactly a sanctuary.
I have spent the last week in the "zone" of the master bedroom,
clearing off the furniture and reconditioning with orange oil.
Putting all my stamping stuff away, and other miscellaneous stuff
that wandered in there. I purchased a new comforter (50% off) made
of flannel and finally hung the pictures that had been propped
against the wall for 2 years! I also bought a little basket to place
by my bed to hold hand cram, my book, etc.
Well, this has transformed the room, but the God Breeze came
yesterday in the mail! MY COMFORT ZONE PERPETUAL CALENDAR. I opened
it this morning and guess what it said? "Your bedroom is
not a graveyard for stuff that has no home." I just sat on the edge
of my new-comforted bed and let the God Breeze blow over me. Thank
you so much for showing me how to make my home a sanctuary!

FlyLady Here: I have never thought that my book Sink Reflections was
a good book to give as a gift. So we spent a year working on our
Comfort Zone Perpetual Calendar; it is just a little doze of FlyLady
each day. It follows our zones with a few Safety Missions and Kelly's
Pamper Missions along with those quotes that I come out in my essays.
Dear FlyLady,
I received my Comfort Zone Calendar Friday and I love it! Thank you
for only putting the date and not the day on it. I love that I can
use it year after year. I read through some of the quotes and look
forward to reading each new one daily.
