Dear Friends,
Today at the office Jack sat me down and told me to close my eyes.
Then he placed in my hand a prototype of something they had been
working on for weeks. Then I was told to open my eyes. It was a
FlyLady Doll!
We had a testimonial several weeks ago that mentioned a FlyLady Dolly.
Jack jumped right on it and now we have a prototype that is about 7
inches tall. She is so cute but I am partial to her. She can sit on a
window sill or a shelf. She has her mommy finger pointing and a smile
on her face. This is the first time we have ever seen her in three
dimensions. Part of her is soft and squishy and the bottom is like a
beany baby so that she will sit upright.
I have a question for you. We are still making a couple of simple
changes to her prototype. If you think you would like to purchase a
little FlyLady Doll for your child then please send us an email to
FlyLady@flylady.net with DOLL in the subject line. This will give us a
count of how many to order. You did this when we were printing the
first run of our Body Clutter Book.
Thank you so much!
FlyLady
Here is the testimonial that sparked this surprise.
Dear FlyLady,
I'm writing to you because my children have asked me to tell you how
much they love you. My DH and I have 4 wonderful DChildren. Since
I've been FLYing, their rooms have shown remarkable changes! They've
even been putting their dirty clothes in the hamper at night! But
this is their testimonial...
We have the car magnent on our refridgerator, and FlyLady clings
around the house (on drier, on door and in the bathroom) to remind me
and the kids to do it 'right'.
Each morning my DD(5) comes upstairs dressed to her shoes-just like
mommy and says good morning to me, and to the FlyLady magnent on the
fridge! She tells FlyLady that her bed is made and that she's happy
her room is clean. And yesterday, she told 'you' that she was happy
to find clean socks in her drawer!
Thanks to the FLY system, I've finally gotten their chore-charts done,
and they are posted on the fridge-right above the magnent! All 4 kids
are doing their chores daily and loving it! They do get a small
reward for chores done, but they really like to see 'you' there with
the charts and know that you are smiling because they are FLYing too!
The biggest change came when I realized that my oldest two don't have
to pick up all the doggie droppings all at once (ewww). I tell them
"just 15 minutes" and set the timer. Our yard is now mostly clear of
little stinky bombs left by our two DDogs. Thank you!!
We also have both the 'mommy' duster and the 'baby' duster. Plus two
dollar store dusters for my little ones. Dusting the whole house is
together-time in this house! What fun!
My DD(5) and DD(7) want me to ask if you will make a FlyLady dolly.
We all love you, and want to thank you for the changes that you've
taught us to make in our home.
BIG hugs sent out to you and the crew!
