Today's Movement Mission: Do Something Fun and Active!
Today's Focus: Throw Out the Rear View Mirror!
Do Something Fun and Active and Throw Out the Rear View Mirror
Today's Fitness Mission is to do something fun and active with your
kids, spouse, partner, family and/or friends. Exercise does not have
to be so structured that you are at a gym, or are walking, running, or
biking a certain amount of time or distance. ANYTHING THAT GETS YOUR
HEART RATE UP IS BENEFICIAL. SO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND DO SOMETHING
POSITIVE FOR YOUR HEALTH TODAY:
1) play tag, hide and seek, or pass a ball in the yard with your kids
2) go for a 10 or 15 minute (even 5 minutes is GREAT) with your
husband or partner
3) go for a hike or a walk with a friend. You will be talking so much
you wont even realize you are exercising.
4) Play the "who can do more push-ups and sit-ups game" with your
kids. You will laugh alot and your kids will probably love it. Who
cares if you can only do one half push-up from your knees, you will be
having fun with your kids and doing something great for your health.
Maybe our Yahoo team can make suggestions to your teammates on fun
ways to be active with your spouse/partner/kids/friends so that my
small list above will grow.
The point is, DO SOMETHING FUN AND BEFEFICIAL FOR YOUR HEALTH TODAY.

you can definitely do that (download the free workouts at
www.MomentumFS.com), but I SUGGEST WE ALL HAVE A STRESS-FREE WEEKEND
AND NOT BEAT OURSELVES UP OVER NOT DOING A FORMAL WORKOUT. But don't
get me wrong, I DON'T WANT YOU MAKING EXCUSES FOR WHY YOU CAN'T DO
SOMETHING THAT INVOLVES MOVEMENT TODAY. BECAUSE I KNOW YOU CAN.
Lastly, THROW YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR OUT THE CAR WINDOW. Any of you
who have listened to my BlogTalkRadio show have heard me talk about
this. What I mean is, forget about yesterday, lets concentrate on
TODAY AND TOMORROW. Beating yourself up over weight gained, etc. is
only dragging you in the wrong direction. I have written about this
before, but wanted to mention it again because I can hear it in some
of the postings. LETS ALL STAY POSITIVE AND FOCUS ON DOING GOOD
THINGS FOR OUR HEALTH TODAY.
Have a great workout (regardless of what you do to move), take baby
steps, DON'T MAKE EXCUSES, and keep it fun.
Dear Friends,
It's Anti-Procrastination Day again and you know what
that means. It's time to schedule those appointments we've
been putting off. Today, we are going to call our Gynecologists
and schedule our yearly check up. I know, they aren't always fun
but they are crucial to maintaining our health and staying cancer
free. Early prevention and screening are the key to catching these
types of cancer early. So, don't procrastinate any longer. Do it NOW!
