Marching Journey Down FlyLady Way!

Dear Friends,

If you want to march to the beat of a different drum and nutritionally ramp up your nutrients, you're going to have to get adventurous at the grocery store! Here's some great stuff to toss this week:

Potato chips, cheese puffs and their ilk: Some are worse than others, but honestly, this kind of snacking just isn't healthy. Try making some pita chips instead if you need some crunch to go with your sandwich. Easy as pie: heat the oven to 400 degrees, cut some whole wheat pita bread into triangles, spray with a little oil (I use my own pump filled with good oil), then sprinkle very lightly with sea salt. Bake till crisp (watch themÂonly takes about 5 minutes) and there you areÂthey're cheaper, very tasty and not nutritionally void.

Now march yourself to the grocery store!

Dear Friends,

We've been decluttering our kitchens all month long and doing such a great job. If you've been following Leanne's missions, you've added some healthy foods to your grocery list and tossed some unhealthy choices from that list too. So, for today's mission, we are going to toss these unhealthy things from our pantry to make room for some of these new healthy additions. Grab a trash bag and get to it. You'll be amazed at how much unhealthy junk is in there!
