This Saturday as we march down FlyLady Way we are going to celebrate the official House Fairy Pajama Day! Since we are marching, we need music, so let's make sure we turn on our tunes. Today, just for fun, we get to stay in our pajamas all day! Invite some friends over to celebrate with you, just make sure you tell them they must come in their pajamas. Now since Pajama Day means you must stay in your pajamas all day that also means we wear our pajamas, bathrobes and slippers if we go out to the park, the show, to a restaurant or to the zoo. Hey they have pajama day at our local high school, so why not have a special family pajama day? What fun you'll have when people stare at you in your bathrobes and slippers. This annual pajama affair will give mom and dad a chance to see what state of affairs the family's night clothing is in. Perhaps you will see that it's time for some new sleeping duds. To top off the day get dressed and sleep in your clothes. (A picture is worth a thousand words so don't forget to take one.) Make it fun and it will get done.
It's the last Saturday of the month and I've saved the best
family decluttering mission of all for today. It's time to get
rid of some of those video games that are piled up everywhere.
You know the ones I mean. The Xbox, Play Station, and Game Cube
games that are piled up next to the TV. Go through them with your
children and set aside the games they have already beaten or just
don't play anymore. Then, organize the ones they want to keep so
they will be easier to find when they do want to play them. And here's
the best part of all, you can take those old used games into almost
any gaming store and trade them in for cash or new games! Have fun
and enjoy spending this time with your family.
