- A flylady duster in a pretty vase!

- Hello FlyCrew:
My idea of a great gift is - a certificate for a haircut or spa visit (or both). I also love to get charms for my charm bracelet, tea for my 15 minute breaks, bubble bath or bath gel and candles. None of these take up much space and they are all loved and used. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to give our "two cents".

- "Get Out of Jail Free" Card...one whole day to sit in a bookstore (w/coffee shop), have lunch with a friend, have my nails done, whatever, without my dear children.
- What would I like for Valentine's Day? I would love to have my DH draw me a bath with some new aromatherapy bath salts and then give me a massage!!!
- A weekend out of town with my girlfriends to work on our scrapbooks and have fun.
-
THANKS FOR ASKING THESE QUESTIONS!! I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE RESPONSES!! -ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A CREATIVE GIFT IDEA.
I would love for my husband to buy me some new lingerie that he especially likes. :o)
- I would like flavored teas, like apple cinnamon, orange spice, etc. When I'm finished with them, no clutter.
- Ballroom dance lesson (or swing, jitterbug, salsa,
whatever) that we can do together!
- I am a single mom, so I don't really have a Valentine sweetie, BUT if someone was going to get me a valentine, it would be to just take some of my "duties" for a couple of hours and let me have some free time to play my violin or just relax!

We always say we want flowers candy and jewlery for Valentine's Day, but I can say with the most honest heart, I do not. I want simple little things for the holiday. I want the shelf hung in the washroom, I want the window caulked, after 17 years together flowers are certainly nice, but with 3 little boys, two cats and a dog running around, I'd really just rather have the shelf hung. One of the last things I need is the knick-knack I have to find a place for and something more to dust. I don't need another heart coffee cup for the rest of my life, even though I think they are adorable, but boy would I love a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure. I'd like the top four items on the honey do list DONE, and it would be appreciated more alot longer than the flowers would last.
Having Fun FLYing,
- Dear FlyLady,
I would just love a romantic Swedish Couples Massage. No clutter, quality time with my sweetie, and nice and relaxed to enjoy one another afterwards!

- Honestly, my favorite Valentine's gift is chocolate. I think it goes back to being a little girl - my dad always went to the drug store on Valentine's Day to get my mom and me each a box of chocolates.
Our first few years of marriage, my husband didn't feel right getting me chocolate - he knew I was always watching my weight and felt that giving me sweets wasn't being respectful of that. When I found out, I told him I appreciated that, but chocolate is what I really wanted on Valentine's Day. Even just a little box!

- I would really like a new, good quality knife set and block. I've had several sets of the cheap kind, and within 6 months they have to be replaced. Of course, our budget doesn't allow a good quality set, but one can dream, can't they?!
- Dear Flylady,
It's highly unlikely that my DH will be getting me
anything for Valentine's Day, so in a way this is for
both of us - and clutter-free too! I have ordered a
dozen red roses to be delivered to him at his office.
He'll enjoy the surprise, and then when he brings them
home people will think that he bought them for me!
God bless you for giving me my wings!

- I would like help painting the bedroom for Valentine's Day
- What I would love for Valentines Day is a whole body massage given to me by
my Dear Husband.
With wonderful smelling essential oils, candle light and soft music.

- My husband and I love coupons for the car wash! The kind where they do the entire car inside and out.
- My guy has already given me my gift. It was something I asked for. In a recent Bible study, a member of the study had a slimline Bible which fits easily into your purse. I had never seen one. He ordered one for me which has my name on it and gave it to me early. I really, really like it. He ordered it from CBD if anyone else likes the idea.

- flowers (daisies or tulips)
candy
night out with just my sweetie
phone calls from my kids away from home
- Starbucks gift card and Godiva Chocolates
- I love anything that can be put in bathwater, and even more so if it has rosemary in it.
- Dear Flylady and Crew,
As a girl I can't say enough about the importance of
chocolate.
The best kind I would like is Belguim or Swiss. Nice
thick Gourment bars of the darkest richest chocolate
available.
What is more important is the quality. Doesn't need to
come in a heart shaped box.
Anyway, the news out on the street is that the pure
dark chocolate is high in antioxidents and essitial
fatty acids (similar to nuts).
MMMMmmm...yummy and heathy (in small doses)
- We splurged on a real massage table about a year ago, so I'd love for hubby to give me a nice long massage! That's probably my favorite thing in the world!
- Honsetly, I just want him to remember it. I don't want stuff, just a card or a note. At the most, I would like flowers. Please no stuffed animals! But I'd never tell him that (lol), and I would never complain about anything he gives me even if it ends up getting boogied at a safe time. ;)

- A gift certificate for anything involving esthetics. Manicure, pedicure, waxing.
Also great - a gift certificate for a one-hour massage. If money's tight, I'll take a personal one-hour massage with him as masseur, in the privacy of our bedroom (wink, wink!)
A card "hand made" on the computer, that is very personal and highlights some of the special moments over the past year.
A gift certificate to a favourite Christian bookstore, to get a book, CD or DVD I've been hoping to pick up
Look at that, no clutter (or very little!) Guess I've been FLYwashed!
- Hi All...
What I would love for my husband to do for me for Valentine's Day is book a
double massage at our home (many independent massage therapists book in-home
massages) and then have a relaxing dinner at together afterwards. Ah, how
romantic... and so relaxing!
I look forward to reading the other ideas you receive!
- Roses,
Go away on vacation, Take her somewhere nice for dinner.
- A personal written letter from your husband or significant other about
memorable events in the last year and hopes and dreams for the future. If it
is a tradition each year, it will be a priceless gift to not only the
recipient, but to others (children and family) as you age or should leave this
earth in an untimely manner......
- If you have children, how about a night at a hotel. I'm not necessarily talking the Ritz, just a night off, maybe a pool, defintely a hot tub to soak away all that stress and just relax. Mom and Dad need some time to themselves to rejuvenate and remember each other. It doesn't have to be the night of Valentines Day, but within the next 2 weeks. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends are sure to take the kiddos to give you a little R & R.
Love,
Fly Baby
(It's only been a month, I'm trying bless you all)
- I would love a day spa treatment, a manicure, or get nails put back on again, massage, go get my hair done to go out for supper, gift card to my favorite clothing store, these are just a few of my favorite things...

- time to crop. An afternoon or evening where he OFFERS to watch our baby and I can go w/a girlfriend to the closest scrapbook store and crop to my hearts content (w/out interuptions).
- A gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure.
A gift certificate for a massage.
If $ is tight, a handmade gift certificate for a
massage at home.
Or a handmade gift certificate for time to pamper
yourself with a nice long soak in the tub, or for time
to go for a long leisurely walk or to watch a "chick
flick".
A perfect inexpensive match for the "time" gift
certificate is a package of bath salts or moisturizer,
a CD to listen to while walking, or a coupon for a
movie rental.
- Dear FlyCrew,
I would LOVE to get the FlyLady feather dusters for Valentine's Day! My old duster is toast and it's been "blessing the world" with loose feathers as I dust! LOL
I also would LOVE to have a manicure/pedicure for Valentine's Day- a nice, clutterless gift that I don't give myself very often.

- What I want for V-day is the outside of my car to be washed and the floor of the car to be vacuumed.
-
I would LOVE for my family to plan and cook my dinner for Valentine’s Day! I make sure to have dinner on the table here unless I have to work an evening shift at the hospital (about 2 nights/week). It would be nice to have someone call to me “dinner’s ready!”

- Gift certificates to clothing and jewelry stores, including outlets!!
- I alway appreciate something just for me. My husband has a standing gift. He gives me a Day Spa Certificate. I can schedule this for when I really need a pick me up.
He is pretty quick on his feet as well. We were at a meeting the other night and scheduling a task that needed to be done on Monday Feb. 7th. He also selected an alternate Monday Feb 14th. I told him that might be difficult for some of the volunteers because that was Valentine's Day and their wives might not approve. One of the men made a comment and I my husband spoke up saying everyday was Valentine's Day at our house.

- I have asked my husband to buy a box of chocolates (eat or throw the chocolates away himself) and put a new much-needed workout outfit in the box. I have LOVED having and admiring the chocolate box since I was a little girl, but I am trying to get rid of some body clutter this year. It seemed like the perfect solution, and I KNOW that he will get it for me because I told him specifically what my wishes were. Talk about a stress free holiday for both of us.
- My birthday is two days before Valentine's Day so sometimes it gets combined together. So this year for my birthday and Valentine's Day I decided to "fill my own stocking" like you suggested during Christmas. I ordered some wonderful Mary Kay products as a treat to myself! I told my husband he didn't have to worry about a gift since I had taken care of it for him. He was absolutely relieved. No pressure to find the "right" gift. It even came in a pretty bag! I never would have purchased something like this before - but since I've been doing my morning and evening routines since joining in April I actually take the time to wash and moisturize my face each day. I now get dressed to my shoes and I even put on makeup - whether I have plans to leave the house or not. I'm a SAHM and the first day I started, my 2 yo DS kept asking if we were going to "church". Poor thing, he only thought we got dressed up to go to church. Now I feel pretty everyday for when my DH comes home and for my DS!
So thanks for my Birthday/Valentine's gifts a little early!
-
I want a Princess Phone. Hecht's has them on clearance but I suppose they can be found at other stores on on-line. They're retro and oh, so pink! Our bedroom (which is quite tidy!) has a romantic rose theme and the pretty pink phone would be darling beside my bed. I wanted one (Princess Phone) as a young girl. How special it would be! Squeal!!
- Tell me that I am the most precious, beautiful and exciting person in your
world. And MEAN it!
- Inappropriate or not, I'd love to have some extra cash to spend as I wish instead of flowers/candy/fancy scratchy underwear!

- The Valentine present I enjoyed the most from my husband was a small bouquet of flowers and dinner at a nice restaurant just for the two of us. I know that took so much thought and concern on his part about what I would enjoy. I would accept that any Valentine Day and think I was a queen!
Blessed in Idaho,
- I would love a subscription to a beautiful magazine. I used to subscribe to Victoria, but to my total dismay they stopped publishing it.
-
Dear Flycrew,
To me, the best Valentine is something handwritten, from the heart.
- I think a nice idea(which I would Looove) is the New Scent Stories player and a bunch of Heart Candles. Now how would that be for a beautiful Duo Bubble Bath?
- I would love an hour alone in the house. Not an hour after kids are in bed for the night and I'm exhausted but a real hour in the middle of the day for me to sit and listen to the quiet in my beautiful (but not perfect) house.
- pretty soaps for the bathroom
a new spring time wreath for the front door
dinner out
- Flowers (pink roses) and dark chocolate of course. But also, extreme pampering, lots of hugs and kisses, and sweet little nothings in my ear. If we could afford it, this would all happen at a beautiful bed and breakfast in the country with a little town attached for shopping (of course) and a winery would be nice.
