Today was the day I opened the dreaded walk-in closet. That is an oxymoron because I can’t walk in to it. It was full of clothes that don’t fit, haven’t worn, some torn or stained. Clothes that have been in there for over two years and have not seen the light of day.WELL, today, I put some boxes together and folded all these clothes to go the mission or women’s shelter here. It is pouring down rain and that is the only thing that has kept me from hand delivering them myself. To be honest.. only one side of the closet is done and I shudder to think what is in all the boxes on the shelves. NO WORRY’s. Whatever it is will be blessing someone else. If I have not worn it or looked for it or missed it in 2 years then that means, I do not love it. If I don’t love it, it can’t stay in my precious closet space. It is o.k. to give it away.
I have been reciting that all day. Clearing out the closet one box at a time. Thanks for all the help from your book on how to get this done. I am understanding that you can NOT clean clutter.

FlyLady here: My focus this week has been on my closet too! Did you listen to Tuesday’s radio show! We actually stayed on topic! It was a great show!
I have three hugs bags of clothes to be donated tomorrow. I am so excited. I used my timer at the top of every hour.
Your mission today to gather up a bag of clothes from your closet to give away! When you do this send me an email to FlyLady@flylady.net with MY CLOSET FEELS BETTER
