Like many others, I did not realize that you had to clean out anything other than the lint trap in the dryer before I received your emails. Thanks for that! I have a funny story to tell you about cleaning out the dryer.

My husband has been asking all about this FlyLady who helps me keep our house clean, and he said he wanted to do some things around the house (!!!), but he wanted me to tell him what would help me most. I said I’d like for him to clean out the dryer vent that goes outside. I didn’t specify how, just left it at that. As I’m making cookies in the kitchen I hear…is that a leaf blower??! Yes! My husband took off the hose and was using a leaf blower to blast out the lint!

It tickled me so much that he had found a creative solution for my request. As amusing as it was, I think I will put in an order for the lint kit so it’s a little easier for him next time.
