Dear Flylady,
This is one of those books that I didn’t want to come to an end, but couldn’t put down either. It is written as though aimed at Young Adults, which I am not, being rather old, but when a story is really good, anyone can enjoy it. It would be difficult to assign this to a genre, but the writing style reminds me a lot of Douglas Adams, and in particular of his book “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency”, which just happens to be one of my favourite books.
The author obviously has a wonderful imagination, a great understanding of science and a clever sense of humour that had me laughing out loud.
It is a pity that there had not been more thorough proof reading before publication, as there are a few typos and punctuation errors, (I have the Kindle edition) but despite this minor gripe, I found this to be the best book I have read in the past year. I hope to read it again, and very much look forward to more from this author.
