Dear FlyLady,

The December habit reminded me a funny conversation I recently had with my boyfriend. He came home after work, looked around and asked, “Did you do some cleaning?”.

“No… Ummm, yes. A little bit,” I replied as I have cleared some hot spots that day.

“The floor smells nice.”

“But I didn‘t mop the floor?!” I said, pleasantly surprised.

Then I realized it was a scented candle that filled the whole apartment with a pleasant aroma.

It turns out that pampering myself can have some positive side effects I have never thought of!
