I’m a brand new FlyBaby and LOVING what I’m reading and seeing – SO ENCOURAGED – thank you! I just placed my first big order yesterday, looks like it’s already on its way (yay!) The carpet sweepa became available today – I want to order but need to know: How does it handle a short shag rug? We have sealed hardwood floors and area rugs upstairs but have a wall-to-wall 1” shag carpet downstairs –  Will the carpet sweepa work on it? (It’s mostly random dog hair from when the dogs run downstairs to go in the backyard – it’s not a heavy traffic area.)thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind words and actions. Our Carpet Sweepa works great on throw rugs but it is not made for hardwood floors. We have two wonderful tools for hardwood floors; Rubba Sweepas and our famous Mop with Chenille Cloths. I just did my floors while my oatmeal was cooking.

I have to be honest with you; I don’t have any shag carpet in my home, so I have not tested it on shag carpet. There are lots of throw rugs and the Carpet Sweepa does a fabulous job on those rugs. Sometimes I will actually sweep fireplace debris onto the throw rug and use the carpet sweepa to get it up.
