Dear FLYLADY,

I am in my 40’s and have only been a flybaby for less than a month, but through your emails and songs, I can honestly say I have experienced a mindset shift for the better!!   Your words alone have made such a difference!

I just came back from a vacation, and for the 1st time, I didn’t stress out about having to unpack and ALL things I need to do/prepare to get back on track for my work week!  Usually this sense of dread and stress would overwhelm me to the point where I would wonder if it was even worth going on vacation!? Sad but true!

I feel a new sense of calmness and peace that I have never had before.  Even my family has noticed! I actually went to bed early the night we came back and jumped into my regular workday today happily! It was not a seamless transition, but I just had a better attitude and outlook than I had in the past. It felt good not to be so stressed.

YOU are the difference! It’s ok if I haven’t unpacked everything yet. I feel well rested, and I really enjoyed the time off!
I know I can get back on track with my work and life at home a little at a time, and I feel relaxed and happy about it.

Your daily positive emails and Amy’s wonderful “I’m flying” theme song lyrics always play in my head and really have changed the negative words and self talk that was usually playing.  Reading your daily emails and hearing & seeing you in your daily videos (that I manage to squeeze in here and there a little at a time throughout the dayl) have really changed my life!

Have fun!  You can do this!  Take baby steps!  2 min!  Go me!  etc.

I didn’t realize how much calmer and happier you have made me until my best friend said, ” I like this new you.” 😊  I like this new me, too!  I still have a long way to go, but I wanted to let you know what a remarkable difference you have made in my life in just a few weeks. Thank you so much!!
