Massage is a great way to relax and put your cares behind you. Thirty to sixty minutes of soothing touch is sheer bliss and helps keep everyday aches and pains to a minimum.
If at all possible, treat yourself to a professional massage this week. Time and money invested in this pampering mission is time and money well spent. If the budget just won’t allow a professional massage, be sure to enjoy your own version at home. Trading massages with a family member is a great way to soothe away stress. If that’s not possible, massage your own shoulders using your fingertips or a back massager. Alternatively, fill a foot bath with warm water, Epsom salt, and a few marbles. Roll your feet over the marbles letting the stress of your day just float away. Finish up by massaging oil or lotion into your feet for an extra treat.
Loving touch is such a grounding experience. Concentrating on nothing but soothing away tension and stress and enjoying the feeling of relaxation is one of the most pampering experiences you can have. Be sure to treat yourself today.
