Help! I’m new to all this online shorthand and sometimes I just get confused reading the letters from your readers or even your posts. I’ve learned that I am a WAHM since I quit my full-time job to start a small business from home while raising my kids but most of these others are lost on me. For example, what is a SHE?

Dear Brandi,
I understand how difficult acronyms can be when I text with my teenage nephew. It is very brave of you to ask this question. When I wrote Sink Reflections we put a full page of the acronym definitions. We have this on our website too.

To answer your direct question; a SHE is a Sidetracked Home Executive. This is from a book of the same name written by my mentors, Pam Young and Peggy Jones.

For those of you who are wondering what a WAHM is? She is a Work At Home Mom.
