Dear FlyLady,

I have been a FlyBaby for years now. Shiny sink, less clutter, 15 minutes to company..LOL! But, I’m still a procrastinator. 5 years later, I’m still working on hot spots and clutter every week.

But! FlyLady in my laundry room hasn’t ever been necessary. I never had Mount Washmore, and I clean my lint trap on the dryer after every load.

Funny, even though my dryer is only 3 years old, my laundry seems to take longer to dry than it did before. I’ve seen the testimonials for the  dryer lint cleaner. Yeah, yeah.

Then, last weekend, my co-worker had a fire in his dryer. The dryer is totaled – and their insurance (less $500 deductible) will cover the damage to the laundry room – walls, clothes, etc…

Luckily, they got out of the house with their grandbaby.

Still, I didn’t believe you. (Why? Don’t know. Still think I know better.) I checked the local hardware mega stores for dryer cleaners. Guess what? More expensive than the FlyLady version.

So, a few minutes ago I ordered the “FlyLady Dryer Cleaning Kit“. Now I don’t even want to dry my clothes until I’ve cleaned the lint out.

LOL. Hurry and send it, please.

I also decided to buy the sink shining towels. (Will throw out the ratty towels once I get my new ones.)

FlyLady here: I am so sorry this FlyBaby’s co-worker had a fire in the dryer and we are grateful that everyone got of the house safely.

The FlyLady Dryer Lint Kit will clean out the dryer vent and prevent fires and your clothes will dry quicker and you will save money since the dryer is not running as long! You have to use them and not just look at them. If you have ordered the Dryer Lint Kit and haven’t used it yet! Do it now!
