Dear FlyLady,

Yesterday I picked up one of my music students up at school. He was crying. Things had not gone well with a school project. But he did his lesson the best he could. We finished up early and as we waited for his mom to come I realized  I was holding a purple “I”m proud of you” pen. (I always keep a supply). I handed it to my student and told him I was proud of him. He took it and held on to it. It didn’t fix the problem, but he know I cared.

It was good to have the right tool, literally at my fingertips!
