Good morning!
I am finally learning to take my own advice by using your wonderful system!
I used to tell my oldest son ( when he was still a child) who suffers from OCD and extreme anxiety when he would get overwhelmed with school projects, tests, whatever that he wouldn’t swallow a steak whole, you cut into smaller manageable pieces, right? It’s the same with our “chores/jobs”
I no longer look at the WHOLE mess, I focus on one small area and tackle that, before I know it, the whole mess is cleaned and organized and I haven’t overwhelmed myself! I am also reminding myself to take pride in any and all accomplishments, no matter how small. That may be the hardest part for me. I’ve never felt “good enough.” The GO ME stickers on post it’s in places that I’ve tackled make me grin every time!
