I am so happy I found your website.  I saw it mentioned in someone else’s post about decluttering.  I have to say it was confusing to get started until I realized that just having a sparkling sink motivated me to do other things and look further at your suggestions.  In the past, I totally did as you described “You clean like a banshee for two days because of guests, and then when they leave, you let things go to pot because you are worn to a frazzle.”  Then health problems visited… and no more ability to clean like a banshee and the shame of having a messy home prevented me from welcoming visitors.

Fast forward… it’s only been a month and a half but what a difference your emails are making. They help me stay focused and successful. I can’t do everything yet as I’m limited to use of one hand.  I laughed when I saw your video cleaning the floor with the new mop using only one hand.  I totally relate!  BUT I do get the job done.  Not perfectly but clean enough daily that I am no longer ashamed to have people drop in.  My husband and my best friend are starting to change their habits too.  Decluttering is the key!

Last week I received my Back to Basics Pack.  Oh my goodness!  The rubba scrubba really helps with cleaning screens (suggested in one of your emails)!  The purple cloths clean the glass amazingly well.  The Multi-Wand helps me dust where I can’t reach AND I wiped down walls after discovering all the spider webs on them.  The carpet sweepa works at keeping the entry clean and my DH is using it too.  These things have not been done in a long time because I haven’t been able to do them.  All the cleaning tools are making things easier and, in my case, making cleaning possible.  My only regret is that I didn’t get the Ultimate Pack 😊 so I bought some of the items that were on sale.

I’m so excited that my house is getting back to being comfortable and I can begin to relax knowing that things will be taken care of over time.  Love your “One Bite at a Time” methods!  Thank you so very much!
