Dear FlyLady,
I’m a FlyBaby And a country girl! I hate to wear shoes and always have.
I started dressing to the shoes at least until my morning routine is complete as well as my 15 minutes of whatever the days mission is.
However, this one particular morning I decided to forgo the lace up shoes opting to clean barefoot.
I was spending 15 minutes in the bathroom cleaning and the door jamb is kind if splintered. I removed the rug from the bathroom to sweep the floor and placed the rug in the hall. As I was leaving the bathroom I stepped onto the rug which promptly slid out from under my foot. Trying to catch my balance the splintered door jam went up under my toenail of the opposite foot and sliced my toe open.
Had I been wearing shoes my precious toe would still be pain free.
Wearing lace up shoes does motivate me for the day and I’m sure I’ll not be forgoing the shoes anytime soon thank you for the encouragement every day and helping me be proud of my home!!
