God Breezes come to me in songs lots of times. The song today was by John Michael Montgomery, Life’s a Dance. I will never forget the time Eric Dodge and our group ran into John Michael Montgomery when we were in Nashville. Eric was so excited! I woke up thinking about the dance we all do and found this video. Just listen to the words.
Our routines are much like a dance. Have you ever tried to learn a new dance step? Eric loves to teach line dancing. I must say, I have two left feet when it comes to dancing. I realize it is like most things in life, practice is all it takes. But instead taking being kind to myself and laughing at my mistakes; I get all embarrassed and sit down. I refuse to dance.
Have you been refusing to get up and dance because you are afraid you are going to mess up? We don’t have to live this way any longer. We start you out slowly. The first dance step you learn is about your shiny sink. Have you shined your sink yet? What are you waiting for? Go do it now. The second dance step is getting dressed to lace-up shoes. The third dance step is decluttering for 15 minutes a day; using your timer.
As Michael Martin Montgomery sang in his song; “life’s a dance, you learn as you go.” The important thing to remember is you have to join in and practice your dance steps with the rest of us. All any of us want to do is have fun. So let’s have some fun!
I think it is time that we got back to basics. Even if we have been FLYing for a long time; we all need a fresh start.
Here are your first dance steps for your day.
1. Get up and get dressed to lace up shoes!
2. Set your timer and declutter for 15 minutes.
3. Shine your sink before you go to bed.
This is going to be a great year! Let’s dance our way to an organized, laughter filled home. Our motto this year is, Coming Alive in 2025! Habits strung into Routines help us Thrive!
