Not only is this a great story with a GREAT ending, this book is SO motivating and it makes the FlyLady system seem so DOABLE. Like so many others, I have been slow to believe that the simple things FlyLady tells us to do will conquer all the CHAOS around me. The book makes it REAL for me since I get to see more than one life completely changed by just doing Baby Steps. It is eye-opening! As they learn, I learn with them, and I can also feel their PEACE, and their stories make me want THAT more than anything.

The New Year inspired me to read this Hidden Treasure a second time. The book simplifies the idea of how to use Baby Steps so well, but I need something concrete to remind me EVERY DAY about my perfectionist thinking (like Susan did for Gina), or I just won’t be able to follow through with the program. So, this time, as I read, I noted down page numbers at the front of the book and made a mark by the tip I would like to remember from that page. After I finished the book , I was able to go back and quickly type out a reminder of helpful tips from the book. It only took 20 minutes, and now I have a one-page printout of all of the great motivational logic and practical tips in the book to look at when I begin to think I CAN’T do it or it just WON’T work for me!

Who knows? I may even read the book a 3rd time next year, but now I can quickly find tips marked in the book or in my Control Journal to remember how to just do Baby Steps, keep it simple, that I only have to do a few things each day, not to let my slip-ups discourage me, to just start over if I have to, etc. I am SO glad I gave this book a second chance!
