Dear Flylady,

I brought in the new year with an awful case of pneumonia and was sick for over a month. I ended up having to go on a medical leave, which gave me great anxiety because my dearest boyfriend has already been on medical leave due to aggravating an old spine injury (he broke his spine while serving in Iraq). I was a nervous wreck worrying about money.

But then it hit me, and I started flying. I got rid of all that negative self talk that I wasn’t good enough or strong enough to take care of my little family and I started to get things done! It didn’t seem like much at first but it was like a domino effect!

My meds made me a little jittery making it nearly impossible to stay in bed all day so I decided to catch up on your videos and tea times and while I listened to you motivating me I would get some things done around the house. Then I would go sit down and watch Star Trek with my dearest boyfriend. Then I would get back up and get something else done.

When I got better and it was time for me to return to work I cried big purple puddles. I HATE my job! So I decided to do something about it. They have a program where they will pay 95% of your tuition to go back to school so I enrolled in my local community college and now I am going back to school for massage therapy! A by far much easier job on the body than working in a warehouse with no windows! And I got a second job as a maid and I LOVE IT!!!!  You are my inspiration, my hope and my courage. Thank you Fly Lady. You changed my life!
