The Absolute Bomb

Dear FlyLady,
As so many of your flybabies state that they never send testimonies, I am among those, but, like them I have to make a statement about some of your products. The first being your Bomb of Water Bottles . Let me tell you why. I live in Anchorage Alaska and have always used reusable water bottles. Well I thought I had the best one yet, when it got all dented up on one of my off-bike tumbles. I decided to order 2 of your water bottles based on all the writings about them. Ordered one of each size. When they arrived I immediately like the screw-on top over the drinking portion. The one I had was open and always got grid and dirt on them, yucky to drink from. After unscrewing the small top I was even more impressed. I can place a Drinking Straw into the opening!

Let me clarify, I use the large bottle (16 ounce) for my morning Smoothie which I make every morning at home. Like other flybabies I wish you had a 32 ounce bottle, have to refill my 16 ounce bottle to drink all my smoothie. This makes me spend some extra time going up and down steps to refill. I know exercise, but, it also adds time in the morning before leaving for work.

Now for the really cool part, I left the 12 ounce bottle in my vehicle overnight 2 weeks ago. Remember I live in Alaska. There was water in the bottle and it had turned on its side on my leather seat. I thought for sure that it would be either burst because of the water left in it, or frozen solid. Guess what? Yup you guessed it neither was an issue. Water was not frozen, bottle did not burst all over my leather seat. In fact the water was nice and cold, no ice required! Awesome.

Second item I want to tell you about is the Rubba Scrubba. It is as most flybabies have found an invaluable tool. I have another use for it which I have not seen mentioned on your list nor in any testimonies.

Once a month, which is noted on my great FlyLady Calendar is a notation to clean my FlyLady Tools. Mostly the Rubba Sweepa, also make sure that the feather dusters (have 2) are all clean and fluffy, the duster glove is nice and clean, hair gets caught in there and sometimes when shaken out does not release. So back to the Rubba Scrubba, I use it to clean those items, the Rubba Sweepa I spray with a cleaner and let it sit for a few minutes then take the Scrubba and go to town on it. It gets down deep and removes the dirt that gets left behind with just a simple rinse.

The Duster Glove also gets a good “sweeping” with the Scrubba which removes all that stuff that stays behind with a simple shake to release all those dust bunnies into the wilds of Alaska.

I know this is long, however, I am so grateful for all that you do for us in this world.

God Bless you and all the FlyLady Crew!

Rita in Anchorage Alaska
