By the time I got home they were air dried and ready to try. I put a dab of water on one edge of one and went after the microwave door. Clean. Went to sample the use on two bad spots, my oven vent hood and a stainless steel plate behind the oven to make stovetop splatters easier to clean (yeah right, lol) With just water and a hair of effort, they started coming clean. And that oven hood has ten years of grease buildup. (My bad.)
So I put my rag away and said good enough for tonight. But you know what? I then went around the house sampling the darn thing on everything. I couldn’t stop myself. I was like a kid in a candy store. The darn thing even got into the patterns of my floor, which is a feat in itself. (Woof was I sorry about buying that thing, but no more.)
You all are awesome, because when you have the right tools, life is much easier.
Thank you, thank you.

FlyLady here; the directions for pre-washing our purple rags are at the bottom(scroll down) of the purple rag page.
We now have two more colors of our rags. They don’t have to be pre-washed.
