I’ve been a FlyBaby now since 2004 and I love my life. But I wanted to tell you a story about procrastination. Today I went over to my Mom’s house. In her bedroom was a Mother’s Day gift still in the gift bag. Now this was the gift that I had given her. Which just happened to be three rugs for her kitchen in the exact color green that she wanted. Also she had wanted them for Christmas but I couldn’t afford them then so latter when they went on sale I snatched them up for a Mother’s day gift.So I asked her why were they still in the bag if she had wanted them so badly? She responded with “I hate to put them out until my floor is mopped.”First of all it was July and why hadn’t she mopped her floor since May but that is another story. So I simply said that that was a silly reason and I took them out of the sack and put them in the kitchen where they belonged. I also threw out the ugly, old, stained ,etc. rugs that they were replacing.

“There I said now you can enjoy them!” “Just move them to mop the floor.” Before Flylady I probably would of agreed with her about mopping the floor first. I’m so glad that I have adopted the do it now mentality of it all.
