Dear Flylady,

We are having company this weekend and my helper was here yesterday.  I told her we were going to wash the curtains and windows in the bathroom and kitchen. My way.

I put the curtains in the washer and proceeded with the rest of my task. I mixed a bucket with warm water and a couple of drops of Dawn.  Then, I got two of my purple rags out and used one to go over the window and the second to wipe it dry.

Unbelievable! I had clean, streak-free windows. My helper and I cleaned a total of two double windows (inside and out) in the kitchen and one in the bathroom.  By the time the curtains were finished washing, the windows were clean and shining. My helper could not believe it…and all this without paper towels.

Still FLYing and fluttering at 82 with help from you and my friends.

FlyLady here: This FlyBaby is an inspiration!!!! She is 82 and FLYing with us. Thanks for sharing how to quickly clean and shine the windows. I can’t imagine going back to paper towels now that I have the Purple Rags in A Bag! You use them, wash them out, let them dry, and use them again. Plus, they just seem to get lots of tough jobs done without much effort.
