Dear FlyLady,
I’ve been working at flying for about a year and a half at home, and in September started to break my office into zones to try FLYing at work, too.
During de-cluttering my files, I found some prescription drug receipts from February last year. That would be over 18 months ago. I don’t know how they made it to a file folder in my office from their usual home (sitting on top of the microwave! OK, so maybe I need the paper clutter reminders a bit LOL!).
They totaled over $165, and if I had sent them in to the insurance company I would have received a check within a couple of weeks. Instead, they got lost in my paper clutter and it’s now too late to be reimbursed for them (I tried…).
Thanks for all that you do. If I wasn’t already convinced that the paper clutter monster was a problem, I sure am now!!! I am so glad that you’ve decided this is our October habit!!!

FlyLady Rebecca here: How many times have we rummaged through paper after useless paper? I do this process at least a couple times a year. I even lost our car title one time! Boy was that a costly (time and money) mistake. Now that I have my Office in a Bag all of my important papers are in order! In fact I have two of them one for work(purple) and one for home(black). I still have my hot spots and put them out with a little help from my routines! Do you have a special routine or tip that could help FlyBabies? I would love to hear you triumphs over paper clutter!
